SAFER SIX + ART + GIVING BACK

SAFER SIX is all about giving back to the community and we are pleased to announce an ART FUNDRAISER where we hope to collaborate with local artists from various LGBTQ2SIA/BIPOC communities to create a design that is within the vision of SAFER SIX. We will then donate 100% of all proceeds to an organization of our choosing that serves one of these communities.

EXHIBIT 1: TAKE CARE OUT THERE
$30 [LIMITED AVAILABILITY]

Designed by Walid Alhindi (@viswalid), a Toronto based art director and digital artist. He makes ads in his daytime job, but when he's off the clock, he's often doodling away. Inspired by pop art, queer culture and that reflection of a twitching neon sign in a rain puddle he once saw.

"When a loved one is embarking on a new journey, the first thing we often tell them to to take care. This artwork is that moment, visualized. As you start peeking out a window into a world of intimacy, a loving voice is reminding you to be diligent and prepared for whatever comes your way; to experience this exhilarating world pleasurably, but more importantly, safely."

TAKE CARE OUT THERE proceeds will be donated to Friends of Ruby, an organization "dedicated to the progressive well-being of LGBTQI2S youth (aged 16-29) through mental health services, social services and housing". Their approach is comprehensive, involving mind, body and community – and their vision is "a world where all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and two-spirit young people feel validated, involved and feel empowered to lead healthier lives".
